Last weekend I headed down to my old stomping ground with one of my best friends in the whole wide world. She happens to be married to one of the other greatest people I've every known, and together, they produced this glorious little girl. It's been far too long since I've seen Ava or her parents, and what a marvelous time we had. Though much of the magic of our visit revolved around the children being nowhere. in. sight. (yay girls weekend!), once we returned to the Realm of Mommydom one couldn't have hoped for a sweeter, more cuddly little angel to remind me how very lucky I am to have my boys waiting for me at home. So thankful for the chance to miss them a little bit, and thankful to have great silly, funny, smart and genuine people in my life that I call friends. And Ava is on that list now too.

A Two House Wedding...
I realized I've been remiss in mentioning a little something. I mean, you can see it up in my nav bar, and if you go to my pricing page, it's there too. But I can't believe I haven't posted about Two House Photo! Many of you probably have already checked us out, but I want to say how excited I am to partner up with the amazing and talented Carin Lilly. As friends, neighbors and colleagues we've talked photography, shared our work and commiserated on the lack of time to follow our passion as the mothers of small children. Then, lightbulb! Why don't we join forces, lessening the burden on our families, sharing the workload, laughs, and gas money. And for our clients, they get the best deal of all. Together we're in two places at once! They can rest assured we have it covered, capturing all the important memories of their very special day.
That was the case for Erin and Greg. This wedding was quintessential October in Vermont. Foliage, hay bales, apples and pumpkins....and of course, love.
I would like to thank Erin and Greg for letting Two House Photo be there for them. It is always fun working with Carin, and as a team I think it's more fun for our clients. What I definitely know is that they'll have a lot more fun looking at their photos...
You can see few more photos of Erin and Gregs magical day on our blog....

Elisa and Gabriel.
I just got finished with a weekend filled to the brim with love. Saturday, two house photo shot an amazing wedding out on the islands (teaser to come!), and Sunday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Elisa and Gabriel here in Burlington. They made it so easy, as their adoration for each other poured out of their beings and into my view finder. Oh, and that dress! Really, I must make it a requirement that each of my subjects spend at least part of our time together in white tulle. These photos are a joy to work on. Here's a little sample so you can see why....
